Luke, Holly and team were exceptional. The level of service given was second to none and they made the process easy and stress free. They picked up and dropped off the car without any hesitation or delay which was incredibly helpful. The work was completed to very high standard and communication was given every step of the way. I would highly recommend EV Bodyshop for their professionalism, good communication and quality of work.

5 stars is not enough for Adam, Luke and the entire team at EV Bodyshops. First time I’ve ever had paint correction and ceramic coating on a car, and I had so many questions, and Adam answered them all, and gave me so much guidance and was refreshingly honest and open. That’s rare to find in the motor trade.I personally enjoy giving my custom to small businesses like this who don’t just see you as a transaction, but as a human being! They take pride in their work and most of all, they do whatever is needed to ensure the customer has a huge smile on their face when they see their car after the work is done.I’m so glad I declined the main dealer’s offer of paint protection and turned to EV Bodyshops, as my humble little car now looks amazing, inside and out.I found them efficient, fast communicators and good value for money. It’s 6 stars from me.August 2024 update: Needed to visit EV bodyshops again for fixing some paintwork. Outstanding customer service again from Adam, Luke and the team. They got the car looking just as good as 2 years ago. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Had a great experience with EV Bodyshop. Our repair took a long time waiting for parts but the communication from start to finish was outstanding and kept me well informed throughout. The standard of repair is quality and you can not tell the vehicle had received any damage at all. I would certainly recommend EV Bodyshop to carryout repairs again.

I had my car’s front bumper repaired by EV Bodyshops recently and I must say this is the best experience I’ve had with a garage ever.Adam was really friendly and talked me through the repair in detail. In addition, he was able to answer all side questions I had so that I ended up walking away with a brand new looking car and some extra knowledge about EVs.I hope I won’t have to repair my car again but if I do, this is the first place I will visit.

After being involved in an accident that wasn’t my fault and needing repairs to my vehicle, Audi recommended EV Bodyshops and I’m SO glad they did. Sheris, Luke and the team were nothing but helpful, professional and reassuring throughout. They dealt with insurer directly for me, came and collected and returned my vehicle from my home address and even assisted where they could with my hire vehicle. I’m so pleased with repairs, the seamless stress-free process and how immaculate my car come back. 10/10 service, I highly recommend, thanks again EV Bodyshops!

Frequently asked questions

What does "Approved Accident Repair Centre" actually mean?

It means that manufacturers, like Audi, BYD, Cupra, Hyundai, Kia, Porsche, SEAT, Skoda, and Volkswagen, have recognised our workshop for meeting their strict standards of repair quality, equipment, and expertise.

It’s their stamp of approval, essentially saying we’re a safe pair of hands for your vehicle.

Why should I choose an approved repair centre over a regular garage for my car's accident repair?

Approved centres have technicians who’ve received specific training from the manufacturers. They understand the intricacies of your vehicle, use the correct repair methods, and often have access to manufacturer-specific tools and diagnostic equipment.

This can help ensure your car is repaired to the manufacturer’s original standards, which might not always be the case with a general repair shop.

Will using an approved repair centre affect my car's warranty?

Manufacturers often stipulate that repairs, especially those related to safety or complex systems, should be carried out by approved workshops using genuine parts.

In many cases, using an approved repair centre can help protect your vehicle’s warranty.

What kind of repairs can you handle?

We handle a wide range of accident repairs, from minor cosmetic damage like scratches and dents to more substantial structural repairs.

Our team is trained to assess the damage accurately and carry out the necessary work to the highest standards.

Do you work on electric vehicles (EVs)?

Yes, we specialise in the repair of electric vehicles. As you can see from the manufacturers we’re approved by – including Kia and Hyundai with their extensive EV ranges – our technicians are trained to work on the high-voltage systems and unique components of electric cars.

What is "high-voltage battery repair"?

High-voltage battery repair refers to the specialist work required on the main battery pack of an electric vehicle. This can include diagnostics, module replacement, and ensuring the battery’s safety and performance after an accident. It’s crucial that this work is done by trained professionals due to the high voltages involved.

Can you deal with "EV charging system faults" resulting from an accident?

Absolutely. Damage from an accident can sometimes affect the EV charging system. Our technicians are equipped to diagnose and repair faults with both the onboard charging unit and the charging port of your electric vehicle.

What are "ADAS calibrations" and why are they important after an accident?

ADAS stands for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. These are features like automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. After an accident, even a minor one, the sensors and cameras for these systems might need recalibration to ensure they function correctly. Approved centres have the equipment and training to perform these calibrations accurately.

Do you use genuine manufacturer parts?

Where appropriate and required by the manufacturer’s standards, we use genuine parts. This helps maintain the integrity and safety of your vehicle.

How long will the repair process take?

The duration of repairs depends on the extent of the damage. We’ll provide you with an estimated timeframe after assessing your vehicle. We always aim to complete repairs as efficiently as possible without compromising on quality.

Will I be kept informed about the progress of my repair?

Yes, we believe in keeping our customers informed throughout the repair process. We’ll provide updates on the progress of your vehicle and are always available to answer any questions you may have.

What should I do after having an accident?

First, ensure everyone involved is safe and exchange necessary information. Contact us as soon as possible. We can guide you through the claims process and help get authorisation for repairs. If you need more information, we have a page about Your Choice.

We repair all types of cars

While we are Manufacturer Approved for many brands, we are able to repair many other brands to Manufacturer standards. Get in touch to find out which brands we are currently undergoing Manufacturer training for.
