On Wednesday this week we were invited to the BYD EUROPE Product Showcase at Thatcham Research, a very interesting day learning about the BYD brand and the sheer scale of the business, we also had the opportunity for a drive out in the new BYD Seal. We had presentations on new and exciting battery technology and how the parts supply will be managed.
The brand have huge growth planned for the UK market with 100 dealers by the end of 2024.
Two interesting takeaways to share from the day,
1, BYD make 50% of the worlds iPads.. 📱
2, Apart from the glass and tyres BYD make every component on their vehicles… 🏭
